The best swing trade alert service is one that publishes its stop with every alert, grades every closed trade against that stop, and shows the losers in the same list as the winners. Price and delivery come after that. Below, five services are compared from their own websites, checked on 8 Oct 2026. I run one of them, so judge the table by its sources, not by me.
1. Is the stop in the first message? An alert without a stop is a guess you are asked to manage. 2. Is every result graded in R against that stop? Dollar results depend on position size and hide how big the losers were. 3. Are the losers published trade by trade? A win rate without the list behind it cannot be checked. 4. Can you see something real before paying? A free sample letter, a public record or a free tier. A service that passes all four is giving you a plan you can audit.

| Service | What it sends | Price as listed | Delivery | Trade-by-trade record with losers |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trade Desk | Weekly swing setups: stocks, forex, gold, crypto, squeeze names | $29/mo, or $199/yr with 20% off the annual | App with push and email alerts, plus the paid Substack letters | Yes, every closed trade with its levels and R, losers included |
| Mindful Trader | Swing trades in stocks and options, trades that "typically last about a week on average" | $47 a month, billed monthly | Picks posted around 6:30am Pacific, commentary by email | Shows a sample of live results and a back test; a full ledger was not found on the pages checked |
| Motley Fool Stock Advisor | Long-term stock picks, two a month | $199 a year list price (intro offer for new members) | Monthly picks | Publishes overall returns; not a swing service |
| Learn 2 Trade | Forex and crypto signals | From £40 for one month to £215 for twelve | Telegram, in real time | States win rates; no trade-by-trade list of losers on the signals page |

If you want a long-term portfolio with a handful of buys a year, a stock-picking newsletter such as Stock Advisor is a different product from a swing service, and the comparison is not really like for like. If you want short-term forex signals on your phone the moment they fire, Telegram services exist for that, and the Telegram signals guide covers what to ask them. If you want swing trades in US stocks only, Mindful Trader is the closest like-for-like here, and the side-by-side page goes through it. If you want free ideas and the skill to judge them yourself, TradingView Ideas costs nothing.
The Trade Desk is built for a trader who wants the whole plan written down on Sunday across stocks, forex, gold and crypto, alerts on the levels, and a record that shows its worst stretch in public.

For the full ten-point version of these checks, with a two-minute test for each, read how to choose a trading service.
Every Sunday before the open: analysed swing setups across stocks, forex, gold and crypto with the exact entry, stop and target, an alert when one triggers, the live dashboard and the paid Substack letters.
Get this week’s setups →The one that passes four checks: a stop in every alert, results graded in R against that stop, losers published trade by trade, and something real to inspect before paying. Compare price and delivery after that.
Of the services checked on 8 Oct 2026, Mindful Trader lists $47 a month, the Trade Desk $29 a month or $199 a year with 20% off the annual, and Learn 2 Trade from £40 a month. TradingView Ideas is free to read.
Not on its own. A win rate says nothing about the size of the losers. Ask for the average winner and loser in R and the full list of losing trades.
It publishes weekly swing setups with the entry, stop and target, alerts on those levels, and the reasoning behind each, with every closed trade on a public record. It does not trade your account.
